JOB PURPOSE
Develop and strengthen company Lifttrucks sales activities in your assigned territory to ensure long-term business growth.
Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, existing and potential customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all sales business activities of company Lift Trucks in your assigned territory; China, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam & Japan – from initial sales contract to final delivery.
- Secure long-term business opportunities within your assigned territory
- Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, existing and potential customers.
- Responsible for distributor management throughout the territory, including preparing forecasts and managing sales and financial reporting routines.
- Active in developing the wider Lift Trucks strategy for the assigned territory -China, South Korea, Vietnam & Japan
- Implementing action plans together with regional management and Lift Trucks business unit.
- Negotiate dealer/distributor agreements and manage price negotiations based on directives from Head of APAC, BU Lift Trucks.
- Feedback to Quality and R&D to improve and develop product quality.
- Represent the company BU Lift trucks in trade shows & conference.
- Co-operate closely with Port Solutions and other Business Units within the Territory.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
Qualifications
JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience from Sales and distributor management in an international B2B setting.
- Proven working experience in a reputable multinational company, ports mechanic or heavy industry is a plus.
- More than 5 years similar experience in sales management function, warehouse or spare parts management is a plus.
- Strong business acumen with good business achievements in past working experience, preferrable in Asia.
- Focus on details, strong willingness to face challenge and contribute to customer success.
- Positive working attitude of ‘know-how’ and ‘can-do’
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, other language skills are a plus.
- Willing to travel
