Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Legal Leadership: Define and execute the country strategy across Automotive and Industrial sectors. Act as the company's legal representative before all competent authorities, managing corporate governance, regulatory filings, and external legal counsel.
- Commercial P&L Ownership: Lead the commercial agenda, including go-to-market and pricing strategies. You will own the country-level annual operating plans, focusing on revenue growth, margin optimization, and demand forecasting accuracy.
- Government & Public Affairs: Build and maintain high-level relationships with Vietnamese ministries, tax/customs authorities, and industry associations. You will advocate for client’s interests and monitor regulatory shifts to ensure long-term business continuity.
- Operational Stewardship: Oversee financial controls, risk registers, and business continuity plans. You will manage non-production functions—including facilities, procurement, and HR policy compliance—while maintaining a close interface with the Plant Manager.
- Culture & Talent Development: Model leadership behaviors to foster an ethical, inclusive, and high-performance environment. You will sponsor talent development and succession planning to attract and retain top-tier talent in the region.
Your Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership in multinational industrial, manufacturing, or automotive sectors. Deep experience within the Vietnam/ASEAN market is essential.
- Corporate Governance: Proven track record as a legal representative in Vietnam, with a solid grasp of local enterprise, labor, and tax laws.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated success in commercial leadership (Sales/BD/Marketing) with full P&L responsibility and a history of delivering profitable growth.
- Compliance & Ethics: High integrity with a deep knowledge of anti-corruption, trade compliance, and internal controls.
- Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or Engineering; an MBA or legal qualification is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is mandatory.
