About the job

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The CEO of Global Show Management (GSM) will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and operations of the company. The role oversees the development, production, and operation of entertainment shows and artistic experiences across Sun Group destinations, ensuring creative excellence, operational efficiency, and strong commercial performance.

The CEO will work closely with Sun Group leadership and destination teams to build a sustainable entertainment ecosystem that enhances visitor experiences and drives tourism growth.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Leadership

• Define and implement the long-term strategy for GSM as a leading entertainment production and show Management Company.

• Develop a portfolio of signature shows, seasonal festivals, theme park shows, and immersive experiences across Sun Group destinations.

• Position GSM as a regional leader in live entertainment and destination storytelling.

 

2. Creative & Production Oversight

• Lead the development and production of large-scale shows including:

– Signature destination shows

– Theme park performances

– Seasonal festivals and parades

– Cultural and immersive entertainment experiences

• Collaborate with international creative studios, directors, choreographers, and production companies.

• Ensure creative quality meets international standards.

 

3. Operations & Show Management

• Oversee the daily operation of all entertainment programs across destinations.

• Ensure show schedules, artist management, technical production, and safety standards are maintained.

• Build scalable systems for managing entertainment operations across multiple parks and locations.

 

4. Talent & Artist Management

• Build and manage a global network of artists, performers, choreographers, and creative partners.

• Develop talent recruitment, training, and artist management systems.

• Establish policies for artist contracts, performance standards, and creative collaboration.

 

5. Business Development & Partnerships

• Develop strategic partnerships with global entertainment companies and production studios.

• Identify opportunities for co-production, licensing, and international collaboration.

• Explore revenue streams including entertainment IP, touring shows, and global collaborations.

 

6. Financial & Organizational Leadership

• Manage company P&L, budgeting, and financial performance.

• Build and lead a high-performing team across creative, production, operations, and business development.

• Establish effective governance and operational frameworks.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10–15 years of leadership experience in entertainment, performing arts, theme parks, live events, or related industries.

• Proven experience managing large-scale productions or entertainment operations.

• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

• Ability to work across creative, operational, and commercial dimensions.

• Experience collaborating with international creative partners is highly desirable.

• Strategic mindset with strong execution capability.
