Job Description

About the job

About The Role The CEO is tasked with a high-stakes evolution: streamlining our 1,200-person operation using Lean methodologies to eliminate deep-seated inefficiencies, and simultaneously architecting a scalable production framework that allows Transformer Robotics to double capacity without a linear increase in overhead.

Job Description Key Transformation Pillar

1. Lean Integration & Waste Elimination

  • Audit and overhaul end-to-end production flows using Lean/Six Sigma principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Drastically reduce Lead Times and Work-in-Progress (WIP) inventory to free up working capital.
  • Establish a "Quality at the Source" culture to minimize rework and scrap rates.

2. Scalability & Capacity Engineering

  • Design and implement modular production lines that can be replicated or expanded with minimal friction.
  • Oversee the transition from manual-heavy processes to semi-automated or robotic-assisted workflows where ROI is highest.
  • Standardize Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that quality remains consistent as the headcount or factory footprint grows.

3. Strategic Resource Planning

  • Optimize the supply chain to ensure raw material flow can support increased production velocity.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making through enhanced ERP utilization and real-time shop floor reporting.

Requirements

  • The "Lean" Pedigree: Proven experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment where Lean was the primary driver of profitability. Furniture experience is a huge plus
  • Scaling Experience: A track record of taking a factory from "mid-size" to "large-scale" (e.g., doubling output or managing multi-site operations).
  • Vietnam Experience: Crucial for navigating the local labor market and ensuring that Lean principles are culturally integrated, not just "enforced."
  • Visionary Pragmatism: The ability to see the 5-year "Smart Factory" goal while solving the immediate bottleneck on the factory floor today.
