PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Supply Chain Workstream lead serves as the key leader and subject matter expert accountable for upholding the Global Process. This role will support the design, standardization, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of end-to-end business processes across the defined region, within the supply chain. This role acts as the critical bridge between global strategy and local execution, ensuring that regional operations align with global process standards while accommodating necessary local variations. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

75% Leadership, Influence and Strategy

  • Process Ownership & Governance 
  • Own end-to-end process for [PTM, MTS, STS, TM] in the assigned region. 
  • Ensure consistent application of Global Template, process standards and policies. 
  • Govern change requests, process deviations, and improvement initiatives regionally. 
  • Escalate Process deviations required by region to Global Leader.
  • Implementation & Transformation 
  • Lead regional deployment of global process transformation initiatives and S4hana implementation. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align process, data, and system readiness. 
  • Act as a strategic thought partner in change management and adoption planning. 
  • Serve as critical liaison between Enterprise stakeholders and the Galileo (S/4HANA) team.
  • Partner closely with the functional leaders, regional leaders, and regional transformation managers to understand how the process is executed today enterprise-wide; as well as identifying improvements in the process and systems as we move into future state design.
  • Facilitate Fit/Gap analysis to Global Template, protecting a clean core in S4hana
  • Identify and recommend localization requirements.  Work with regional leaders to drive strategic local initiatives, while maintaining simple, standard, global focus.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement:
  • Define, track, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency, quality, and compliance. 
  • Maintenance of Process Maps & Standard Operating Procedures
  • Conduct regular process assessments and gap analyses. 
  • Collaborate with region and GPO on process improvements, prioritization and execution strategy.
  • Ensure all process documentation is maintained including process maps and standard operating procedures.

25% Execution

  • Participate, and in some cases facilitate, critical Galileo work needed to ready the organization for the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Global Template phase of the project (ie: research, analysis, workshop participation, etc.). These accountabilities will continue as the project progresses into later phases.
  • Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities, in conjunction with Organizational Change Management Lead.
  • Support development of training plan and execution of training content, in conjunction with Galileo Training Lead. Support go-live activities, virtually or on-site, as required. Support localization activities while balancing the goals of simple, standard, global solutions.
  • Participate and/or support additional Galileo objectives (S/4HANA Transformation program), as needed. Develop in-depth understanding of Source to Settle S/4HANA functionality and the application to the Source to Settle process.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years of supply chain experience
  • BS degree. Supply Chain or Business preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business process management and a passion for driving process excellence
  • Project management and training experience preferred
  • Knowledge of (Functional Area)
  • Knowledge and experience in executing change management
  • Continuous improvement and Process governance mindset
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management and bringing together groups to execute on a common mission​
  • Experience in cross-functional facilitation, collaboration, and being a change agent
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, find new solutions, and drive out of the box ideas​
  • Strong passion for identifying / applying cutting edge technology.
  • Strong PC skills, proficiency with Windows, Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • SAP expert, knowledge of MES and Power BI preferred
  • Second language of Spanish or Mandarin is preferred

DIRECTION OF OTHERS:

Will train, coach and influence groups of associates at local and regional level consisting of both regional/local business leaders as well as various functional associates in the execution of the Galileo project. Will manage team leaders across the supply chain processes. Liaison to the project and leaders around project Galileo.

Global Supply Chain Workstream Leader

KEY CUSTOMER CONTACTS:

  • Regular interactions with the Galileo (S4/Hana) program team
  • Regular interactions with functional leaders supporting business decisions.
  • Regular interactions with global, regional, and local leaders & teams
  • Regular interaction with regional and local process performers
  • Regular interaction with global, regional, and local supply chain leaders & associates

SCOPE INDICATORS:

  • Actively participates and potentially leads several concurrent small, medium, and large business teams (1 to 10 associates) to support transformation of the Process

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel when needed. International travel and domestic travel. 15% - 20% of time.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time performing data collection, analysis, and logical thinking tasks
  • Ability to use keyboard and other computer equipment
  • Ability to review and verify information
  • Ability to clearly communicate and execute business and technical concepts in writing or orally
  • Available for meetings in nontraditional hours to collaborate with Global Markets
