Job Description
Job Responsibilty:
- Geophysical/Geological integrated study, technical report preparation for reservoir evaluation in order to achieve the best study results/report
- Tender/contract work for geological and petrophysical work such as logging acquisition, data processing, rig positioning and others in order to select the best contractor for project
- Geological work (wellsite work / data acquisition / data processing / interpretation / study / report) planning, operation coordination, supervision and data quality check in order to control and support contractor to complete the work services with the best result
- Support the other group such as Drilling Group on ofshore activities in order to achieve effective operation.

Law/Rules Compliance - Ensure all activities comply with Governmental Regulations and Company Policies and Rules.
Staff Management
- Manage direct subordinates to achieve objectives efectively and maintain good teamwork and a healthy working environment.
- Advise, coach, motivate, and support direct subordinates, providing both mandatory and skill-up training opportunities.
- Review and appraise subordinates’ work performance. Liaison
- Assist and support the Direct Supervisor.
- Maintain effective intra/inter-ofice and external counterpart communication for smooth operations.
Job Requirements:
Education
- University or master’s degree in a relevant field Experience
- More than 10 years’ experience in Upstream Oil & Gas Industry.
Specific knowledge & skills
- Strong knowledge of drilling operation and petroleum geology principles, including sedimentology, structural geology, petrophysics and geochemistry.
- Expertise either in; o Geological study: Proficiency in (1) geological modeling and (2) geological analysis, including well log analysis, geomechanical study, data & sample analysis and deep understanding in well operation.
o Well operation: deep understanding in well operation, including well planning, contractor management, operational procedures establishment, data & sample analysis. - Knowledge of professional software.
o Proficient in Petrel, log interpretation software, able to conduct model building, log analysis. Operational and Business awarene
- Good understanding of subsurface and drilling operation and their roles within upstream oil and gas projects.
- Broad understanding of the logistics and other technical support functions and how they interface with subsurface and drilling activities.
- Recognize the importance of eAective cross-functional communication to ensure safe and eAicient daily operations, as well as to enable subsurface studies to be delivered on time and achieve their objectives.
