Quality Engineering Specialist

1. Education required:

·     BS college degree in engineering or equivalent work experience

·     OR combination of education and experience (Engineering or Operations Management preferred)

2. Experience:

• Understanding of  the company environment preferred
• 3+ years previous Quality and Continuous Improvement experience strongly preferred with a strong understanding of process expertise, continuous process improvement and quality assurance methodology and tools Leadership and Influence: Able to motivate teams, drive process adherence, and resolve issues with vendors.
• Communication: Exceptional communicator who clarifies expectations and standards for both vendor staff and your own teams.
• Technical Expertise: Understands manufacturing processes, product standards, and quality requirements.
• Integrity: Maintains high ethical standards, ensuring decisions are made in your best interest and regulatory requirements are met.
• Adaptability: Responds to changes and proactively solves problems, even in ambiguous situations.
• Continuous Improvement: Passionate about driving improvements, training, and best-practice adoption.
• Ownership and Accountability: Takes responsibility for results, primarily responsible for individual work - minimal direct supervision
• Relationship Building: Able to build productive, long-term relationships with people at all levels.
