Consultant Managers
Conduct a variety of Project Manager tasks including:
- The Project (Deputy) Manager shall be responsible for the delivery of Projects through the design, fabrication, installation, hook-up, commissioning and closing phases.
- Managing the overall project work plans to accomplish project’s goals within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
- Continuously monitor and controlling cost, schedule and appropriate risk management by interfacing directly with the Project Team Lead and other functions involved in the development.
- Ensuring the project execution is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and project activities are conducted following Vietnamese Law, associated Oil & Gas standards, Operator’s Policy and Partner’s internal Policy.
- Interface widely with HSE, subsurface & operation functions and stakeholders throughout the project.
- HSE Responsibilities: o Ensure implementation of HSE plan to achieve the highest HSE performance. o Monitor the compliance of project execution with the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and Codes of Conduct within the working team and undertake appropriate mitigation and/or intervention program to safeguard business operations, high staff discipline and industrial harmony. Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
- Develop and implement risk control measures.
- Providing regular updates and monthly reports to the Development Manager.
Applicants should have:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (preferred) in Engineering or projects. · Multicultural experience working in different countries / assigned in operating private international oil Company.
- Full English written, spoken, and reading proficiency. French conversational level is preferable. · Project/Program Management experience.
- 10+ years relevant positions in oilfield related departments including upstream project design and technical support.
- Experience of offshore projects including fixed platforms, pipelines.
- Intimate familiarity with the offshore engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) industry and specific EPCIC contractors.
- Understanding of Central Processing Platform design requirements.
- Knowledge of international codes and standards and the application to the development and operation of oil and gas facilities.
- Working knowledge of construction and installation processes and procedure.
- Ability to make complex decisions ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to. Accept responsibility for own actions.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to openly communicate with team members. Provide active support to the team and greater organization; demonstrating organizational values and behaviors.

- Proficient computer skills with modern day PC application packages.
