Production Manager (CNC)

Job Description

• Responsible for overseeing all precision machining operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in production.
• Involve strategic planning, team leadership, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive productivity, maintain high standards, and align machining operations with company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in CNC precision machining, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of CNC precision machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. Proven ability to lead large teams, manage complex operations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in manufacturing CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, or ERP systems. Experience managing budgets and cost reduction initiatives.
• Having experience in: Goal setting; Continuous Improvement; Problem solving; Employee motivation; On-going feedback
• Able to execute plans, motivate and engage the workforce, evaluate work accomplishments, and provide effective feedback
• Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency
• Experience in process improvement, trouble shooting and equipment management.
• Hands on and very direct approach to problems and needs of production demand.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
