Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research using specific tools to identify high-potential products for the Amazon platform.
  • Product Assessment: Evaluate the potential of identified products, considering market trends, competition, and customer needs.
  • Product Improvement: Analyze existing products to identify potential improvements and unique selling points that could provide a competitive edge.
  • Supplier Sourcing: Identify and establish relationships with manufacturers, primarily in China, to source products. Negotiate terms and pricing.
  • Profitability Analysis: Perform profitability potential analysis to ensure the product's financial viability based on the agreed purchasing prices.
  • Sample Testing: Order and test product samples from various manufacturers to determine the best product in terms of functionality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Product Selection: Decide on the final product for production based on test results and market analysis.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our back office in Vietnam, which handles design services, photography, marketplace maintenance, and supply chain management

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in product development.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed market research and profitability analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is a plus but not required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of technical aspects such as wattage and motor functions, especially regarding household and kitchen appliances.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills for dealing with international suppliers, particularly in China.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to identify potential product improvements and troubleshoot issues during the product development process.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively with a remote team in Vietnam and coordinate with different departments.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Language: Proficiency in Vietnamese and English, German is optional.
  • Adaptability: Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and managing international supplier relationships.
