II – MAIN TARGETS

The contribution of the Position to the success of the company consists in: ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality production processes on the shop floor. Working together with international departments to secure the production. This consists in assisting and solving technical questions and problems of the assigned machines. Furthermore ensure stable production by keeping documents up to date and working closely with the operators for improvements and standardization. Support and evaluate the localization of tools.

III – MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensuring production by providing technical service and support to the areas of pre-production and assembly

Support in the qualification of local tool suppliers and be in close contact with the relevant departments for it

Keeping up to date, creating and developing all relevant documents like Work Instructions and drawings

Troubleshooting on technical issues

Analysis of malfunctions of tools, machines, raw material and peripheric devices

Analysis of deviations in regards to the quality of the product and suggestions for improvements of it

Supporting colleagues in regards to drawings and technical questions

Supporting and initiating improvement projects in regards to processes, products or machinery

Supporting in the continuous enrollment of the fPS know-how as well as transfer to other colleagues

Desinging and developing engineering solutions

Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards

Teach and pass on the knowledge of the process technology

Orther tasks as required by management

Be in contact with other engineering departments and act as a counterpart in terms of questions and implement best practices of other plants

Competencies:

Decide on technical drawings

Initiate changes of product drawings

Tool ordering and decision on supplier for tools

Amount of tooling on stock

Decision on oil usage

Serve as the primary technical contact for machine operators during daily production.

Provide handson support for troubleshooting machine and process issues.

Conduct regular floor walks to identify process deviations, improvement opportunities, or training needs.

Create, update, and maintain Work Instructions, setup sheets, SOPs, and other technical documents.

Verify documents reflect the current process state (Version control/change management).

Ensure documentation is clear, operatorfriendly, and easily accessible on the shop floor.

IV – REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

1. Education background and working experience

Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field)

2-4 years of relevant work experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Proficiency in the relevant software tools and technical skills

CAD Software like NX oder SolidWorks

Business English fluent in written and spoken

Hands-on mentality

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Proven problem solving and analytical skills

Experience in designing and implementing engineering projects
