Engineer Manager

Purpose of the Position

• Control of all engineering department
• Control of the execution of maintenance and repair of equipment’s
• Development the new process and optimization of resources keeping the cost control

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure a secure environment for all factory staff
• Preparation of maintenance plans for all equipment and infrastructure of the factory
• Find solution to problems detected on equipment’s ensure continuity of process
• Generation the work orders with distributing, coordinating and supervising the work of the personnel
• Keep available the equipment’s on-time depending of production request
• Ensure the necessary stock of spare parts necessary and / or requested, to meet the equipment maintenance in deadlines
• Development and proposes together with all department’s the better alternatives for process
• Optimization of resources for increase the efficiency
• Supply the alternatives available for new products request for our customers 
• Help in negotiations for reduce the final cost for equipment’s and spare parts
• Reduction of Down time of equipment’s
• Teach and guide new members

Academic & Trades Qualification

• University graduation from Technical areas associates with maintenance
• Fluent use of computer in some office software, such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, AutoCAD

Work Experience & Skills

• Minimum 7-years experiences working in machineries of food/seafood industry and experience with cold system..
• Minimum 5-years experiences in supervision of develop food process
• Strong knowledge machineries of process and refrigeration system’s
• Capacity to work under pressure

Relationship/Reporting lines

• Engineer manager – This position will be supported for Chief Engineer in collaboration with production areas, and supervised by Chief engineer
• Report to Chief Engineer and Factory Director

Percentage of time traveling

• Is recommendable at least visit to some expo-show for can learn about technologies.

• Partners and factories, for can manufacture equipment for food process area, the idea is can see new applications
