Position: Research Trainee
What You’ll Do
A. Research & Talent Mapping Support
-
Assist in researching industries, target companies, and organizational structures for assigned projects.

Support the development of company lists and longlists of potential candidates under the guidance of Research/Consultants.

Source candidates through multiple channels, including:
-
LinkedIn
-
Company websites
-
Industry directories
-
Professional groups
-
Internal database
-
-
Maintain and update talent mapping files following company standards.
B. Candidate Sourcing & Initial Screening Support
-
Support candidate sourcing activities based on job briefs and Key Selection Criteria (KSC).
-
Conduct initial outreach via email, LinkedIn InMail, or provided scripts.
-
Participate in or conduct basic screening calls (under supervision) to:
-
Validate background and experience
-
Assess initial fit with job requirements
-
Gather information on motivation and salary expectations
-
-
Prepare candidate summaries and profiles using standard templates.
C. Database & Documentation Management
-
Update ATS/CRM systems with accurate candidate information, notes, and communication logs.
-
Maintain well-organized research documents and tracking files.
-
Assist in building reusable talent pools for future search assignments.
D. Project Execution Support
-
Assist in coordinating interview schedules between Consultants and Candidates.
-
Track candidate progress throughout different stages of the recruitment process.
-
Support preparation of basic weekly progress reports.
E. Market Research & Learning
-
Collect and compile basic data on:
-
Salary benchmarks
-
Talent movement
-
Industry hiring trends
-
-
Support Consultants in consolidating research findings into reports when required.
F. Internal Collaboration
-
Work closely with Research/Consultants to understand job briefs and search priorities.
-
Participate in weekly team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
-
Proactively learn and develop research, sourcing, and communication skills.
What we require
-
Fresh graduate (preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields).
-
Strong interest in Executive Search / Headhunting.
-
Good research and information-gathering skills.
-
Good written English (email communication level).
-
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
-
Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
