Role Overview:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for directly managing the business in Vietnam. This role involves ensuring smooth store operations, enhancing operational efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving overall business performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail operations management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of best practices within the retail sector, particularly in the food and beverage industry.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Store Management: Oversee all aspects of store operations within the country, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and implement best practices to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Store Performance: Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales and operational performance.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure effective inventory management practices are in place to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Compliance: Ensure all retail operations comply with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing retail operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Training and Development: Implement training programs for store staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the country's retail operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services and supplies.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to address operational challenges and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, HR, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of business strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on retail operations activities, performance, and strategic recommendations to the Country Operations Head.

Role Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in operations management, particularly within the food and beverage sector.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and tools
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
