Amazon Seller Central jobs in Vietnam are desk jobs running a shop that exists only on Amazon. Picture a stall inside a very large shopping mall. The mall brings the customers, sets strict house rules and can close any stall that breaks them.

The person in this job keeps the stall open and selling. At Headhunt Vietnam we recruit for roles like it.

What an Amazon Seller Central job is

A company that sells on Amazon is called a seller. Amazon gives every seller a website for running the business, called Seller Central. Products, prices, stock and messages from Amazon are all in there.

The job title varies. You will see Amazon Account Manager or Seller Central specialist. The work is the same: one person looks after a seller's account so that its products stay visible, in stock and inside Amazon's rules.

The work is done mostly in writing. When the seller's customers are in the US or Europe, the writing is in English.

Vietnamese companies are selling more on Amazon. As of 31 July 2025, the number of products sold by Vietnamese selling partners on Amazon was up nearly 35% on a year earlier, Jim Yang of Amazon Global Selling said, as reported by Tap chi Cong Thuong.

An Access Partnership report cited by Viet Nam News in April 2026 lists a shortage of skilled labour among the things holding Vietnamese e-commerce exporters back.

What Amazon Seller Central jobs in Vietnam involve day to day

The tasks below come from a job description for this kind of role, grouped into four parts.

The shop window: listings

Every product has its own page on Amazon, called a listing. It holds the title, photos, short selling points and a description.

You write these pages and choose the words shoppers type into the search bar. Research tools such as Helium 10 or Jungle Scout show which words people use.

The house rules: account health

Amazon scores every seller on how well it follows the rules. The score sits on a page called the Account Health Dashboard, and a warning from Amazon is called a performance notice.

You read each notice, fix the cause and reply. A seller that ignores them can lose the right to sell.

The mall office: Seller Support

Amazon's help desk for sellers is called Seller Support, and each request is a case. You open cases, push them when they stall and follow them to an answer.

One common problem is a product that disappears from search results, which Amazon calls suppressed. Another is a seller that needs permission to sell in a restricted category.

A third is stranded inventory: stock sits in Amazon's warehouse but cannot be sold because its page is inactive.

You will also hear the word ASIN. It is the ID code Amazon gives each product.

The daily count

Many sellers use FBA, short for Fulfillment by Amazon. The seller sends goods to Amazon's warehouse, and Amazon stores, packs and ships them.

Every day you check for FBA problems and hidden listings. You also check the Buy Box, the box with the "Add to Cart" button. When several sellers offer the same product, only one of them holds that box at a time.

When a number looks wrong, you work with the design or supply chain team to fix it.

Why the job is harder than it sounds

The mall changes its rules, and every stall has to follow. One example from this year: since 27 July 2026, product titles in every category except media must be 75 characters or less including spaces, according to Amazon's announcement on its US Seller Forums.

Bar chart: product title limit 75 characters, new Item Highlights field 125 characters Source: Amazon Seller Forums announcement (News_Amazon), revised 10 June 2026.

Amazon added a new field of 125 characters, called Item Highlights, for the details that no longer fit, the same announcement says.

Titles left over the limit are gradually replaced with a version written by Amazon's AI, and brand owners get 14 days to review each change, according to the announcement.

Wherever titles ran longer than that, the person in this job had to rewrite them or check Amazon's versions.

Would this work suit you?

The job description we drew on asks for someone structured, careful with detail, reliable and quick to solve problems, with strong written English. In daily terms, that means asking yourself:

  • Do you like writing short, exact text and rewriting it until it fits a limit?
  • Can you read a long rule page and find the one line that applies to you?
  • Will you follow one request for days until someone answers it?
  • Can you check the same numbers every day and still notice the odd one?
  • Could you write to a customer in the US or Europe in English?

Where to start if you are new

Amazon runs a learning site called Seller University. It teaches how to list, price, fulfil and advertise on Amazon, according to Amazon's own page.

The job description we drew on asks for hands-on Seller Central experience. To get it, look for junior or assistant roles at companies that already sell on Amazon.
