Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Handle & perform purchasing tasks.
• Create, negotiate, and execute strategies that lead to enhanced supply chain performance, superior product quality, innovative technology and maximized value.
• Lead negotiations and establish agreements with suppliers.
• Contribute to the business plan for the segment and actively participate in the global network of buyers.
• Work collaboratively with global supply chain members to successfully create and implement global supply chain and technology strategies.
• Utilize company systems to improve efficiency throughout the supply chain.
• Forecast cost changes within the scope of responsibility.
• Oversee and negotiate product/process changes during both the production and post-production phases for revenue segments.
• Manage daily purchasing tasks related to production orders, logistics, and financial transactions with suppliers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of supply chain field, especially purchasing experience (e.g. contracts, supplier negotiations, sourcing, etc.)
• Experience within the manufacturing industry
• Proven negotiation skills
• Desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent working experience
