Responsibilities:

Handle & perform purchasing tasks.
Create, negotiate, and execute strategies that lead to enhanced supply chain performance, superior product quality, innovative technology and maximized value.
Lead negotiations and establish agreements with suppliers.
Contribute to the business plan for the segment and actively participate in the global network of buyers.
Work collaboratively with global supply chain members to successfully create and implement global supply chain and technology strategies.
Utilize company systems to improve efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Forecast cost changes within the scope of responsibility.
Oversee and negotiate product/process changes during both the production and post-production phases for revenue segments.
Manage daily purchasing tasks related to production orders, logistics, and financial transactions with suppliers.

Requirements:

5+ years of supply chain field, especially purchasing experience (e.g. contracts, supplier negotiations, sourcing, etc.)
Experience within the manufacturing industry
Proven negotiation skills
Desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent working experience
