Service Engineer - Water Treatment

Responsibilities

• Final assembly/ assembly supervision and commissioning
• Carrying out the maintenance work
• Repair/ Commissioning
• Determining the technical condition
• Function test, fault diagnosis,
• Suggesting solutions to problems and coordinating with the customer
• Troubleshooting
• Customer advice on preventive maintenance
• Improvement of service options
• Replacement of wearing parts or repair of defective parts
• Leak test and / or pressure test
• Handling chemicals
• Test runs
• Cause clarification in the event of a warranty claim
• Instruction of operating personnel
• Preparation of customer service assignments
• Material disposition of the vehicle stock for upcoming customer service assignments
• Preparation of customer service reports, log of settings, initiation of necessary measures Preparation / completion of technical documentation as well as acceptance and handover protocols
• Installing software
• Inventory / material planning, management and storage of the vehicle fleet

QUALIFICATION, REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully completed training or master craftsman/technician training in the field of electrical engineering or comparable training such as mechatronics engineer, electrical engineer, machine fitter, industrial mechanic, etc.
• Knowledge of system assembly
• Experience with water treatment plants, measuring, control and dosing technology
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and laws, e.g. VDE, UVV, WHG, GVWS, etc.
• Very good technical understanding of process engineering processes and their interrelationships
• Confident handling of SAP and MS Office, SIMATIC software, Step7 and WinCC
• Used to working independently, with commitment and flexibility.
• Able to represent the company to the customer.
• Good written and spoken English skills desirable
• Strong imagination and quick comprehension skills
