Junior Production Planner

I – MAIN TARGETS

The contribution of the Position to the success of the company consists in: Planning the production to have the correct product in the right amount to the right time ready for the customer. This is achieved by consolidating information from all relating departments and creating out of this the production plan under the given circumstances. That means to coordinate and manage the planning and scheduling for the production department.                                                       

Supporting the Production Process Planner in the setting up new production process definitions. Verifying the existing data and based on this extraplorating new data for the production process.                                                                              

II – MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support in scheduling pre-production, assembly and third party services to ensure an optimal delivery to the customer
• Monitor the production progress and produce reports based on findings and the performance of the production
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximal performance and minimum delay
• Booking of corresponding jobs in SAP
• Supporting in the definition of planning parameters and their constant optimization for existing products
• Supporting in the definition of inventory parameters and inventory responsibility as well as ensuring the delivery capability of all for existing products
• Supporting in the continous enrollment of the fPS know-how as well as transfer to other colleagues
• Close exchange with other relevant departments, like assembly, pre-production, logistics and HUB-Planner regarding deadlines and priorities
• Supporting in creating BOM, routings, Master Data and additional information in the SAP System and keepting the up to date in coordination with the production planner
• Keeping BOM, routings, Master Data and additional information in the SAP System up to date
• Creating Reports
• Orther tasks as required by management

III – REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

1. Education background and working experience

• Bachelor’s degree in material supply planning, stock management, production management, engineering or a related field
• 1 year of experience working as a Planner in distribution or manufacturing environment or a related position.

2. Knowledge / Skills:

• Business English fluent in written and spoken
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills
• Work effectively with all colleagues
