Consultant Manager

MAIN DUTIES:

Direct, manage, create and execute the Company's global manufacturing operations, including production, equipment and planning teams. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Production Planning

  • Develop and implement long-term and short-term production plans aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure production capacity planning supports forecasted demand and sales targets.

Demand Forecasting & Capacity Management

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and procurement team to align production with demand forecasts.
  • Monitor and adjust capacity plans to optimize resource utilization and minimize bottlenecks.

Master Production Scheduling (MPS)

  • Oversee the creation and execution of the Master Production Schedule.
  • Ensure MPS aligns with material availability, labor capacity, and customer delivery requirements.

Inventory & Material Planning

  • Ensure raw materials and components are available to meet production schedules.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance cost, availability, and working capital.

Manufacturing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals for quality, cost, delivery, and flexibility.
  • Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Production Management

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations across all production lines and shifts.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources (labor, equipment, materials) to meet production schedules.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance process efficiency using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Drive standardization of processes and best practices across manufacturing sites.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.

Cost Control & Budgeting

  • Manage manufacturing budgets, control operational costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on manufacturing KPIs.

Technology & Automation

  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital tools to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
  • Oversee maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment 

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all EHS regulations.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior leadership.

New Product/Process Transfer &  Process development

  • New products are properly documented and justified; Major development and Capital Investment programs are sold to Corporate Management with proper levels of analysis and justification.
  • The Product Development is done on schedule and on budget.
  • Set up manufacturing platform to new product transferred to optimize cost and quality.
  • Provide support Process Engineering team to develop long term corrective action or plan for process improvement or bring in-house process for cost reducion. New manufacturing equipment or processes are created, designed, developed to support market demand.

Human Resources

  • Establish clear and specific ESGP objectives with all department personnel that support achievement of corporate goals

  • Conduct monthly 1-on-1 sessions with each direct report to review previous month's results and plan/review activities and strategies for the upcoming month
  • Responsible for the ongoing development, motivation, satisfaction and retention of top talent in the department
  • All department personnel are engaged with a Personal Development Plan
  • All performance reviews within the group are done at a high quality level and on time
  • Hiring, reviewing, promoting, counseling and/or terminating personnel is conducted in a fair, professional, equitable manner
  • Role model for Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction, Business Results, I-CARE

Special Projects

  • Support customer visiting and audits from internal or external organization
  • To make sure 5S implemented properly at organization
  • Support special projects as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. An MBA or relevant master’s degree is often preferred.
  • 15+ years’ experience in the same or similar industry (assembly, fabrication, clean environment, etc.).
  • Typically requires 7+ years of leading international operations.
  • Leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale operations.
  • Experience in developing and executing operational strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing processes, reducing costs, and improving KPIs.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle) and data analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions to improve operational performance
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work in diverse, cross-border teams.
  • Experience with digital transformation or automation initiatives is a plus.
  • Plus points if having:
    • Ability to anticipate and handle multiple priorities and complex issues involving external and internal customer priorities under time constraints
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and ability to comprehend (including technical concepts) and communicate at a high level with internal and external customers and suppliers
    • Understand the regulations that apply to commerce, health and safety at the local, state and federal levels for the products and service provided
    • Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership and competency
