II – MAIN TARGETS
The contribution of the Position to the success of the company consists in: securing the production by supplying the correct amount of tools in the correct quantity and quality. Tool Stock Control is critical for the success of the company, therefore not too much but also not to less tools have to be on site. Tracking, ordering and improving the tools will benefit to the efficiency of the production.
III – MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Correct amount of tools on stock in the right quality to secure the production in the cold forming area (Pressing and Thread Rolling)
Support in the qualification of local tool suppliers and be in close contact with the relevant departments for it
Keeping up to date, creating and developing all relevant documents like Work Instructions and drawings
Troubleshooting on technical issues
Analysis of malfunctions of tools, machines, raw material and peripheric devices
Analysis of deviations in regards to the quality of the product and suggestions for improvements of it
Supporting colleagues in regards to drawings and technical questions
Supporting and initiating improvement projects in regards to processes, products or machinery
Supporting in the continuous enrollment of the fPS know-how as well as transfer to other colleagues
Desinging and developing engineering solutions
Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
Teach and pass on the knowledge of the process technology
Orther tasks as required by management
Be in contact with other engineering departments and act as a counterpart in terms of questions and implement best practices of other plants
Competencies:
o Decide on technical drawings
o Initiate changes of product drawings
o Tool ordering and decision on supplier for tools
o Amount of tooling on stock
o Decision on oil usage
IV – REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
1. Education background and working experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field)
2-4 years of relevant work experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Proficiency in the relevant software tools and technical skills
2. Knowledge / skills:
CAD Software like NX oder SolidWorks
Business English fluent in written and spoken
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Proven problem solving and analytical skills
Experience in designing and implementing engineering projects
