To run the daily
Airfreight operations, leading and coaching the Airfreight team to meet individual
and departmental goals regarding productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Report
to: Operation Manager
Leadership
Supervision of
the Airfreight Team, including financial issues, business and people
development
Develop and
maintain relationships with overseas agents, airlines and customers within the
framework of central supplier agreements
Training and
management of airfreight team towards maximum performance and job satisfaction
Business
Functions as a Selling Manager
Providing
customer quotations
Maintain quality
standards for operational export procedures and improve them where necessary
Work towards
meeting customs demands
Master the
airfreight export/import process/, actively and to support team
Establish and
maintain a good working relationship with suppliers
Customer service
to the clients, liaison with specific customers to maintain customer base
Finance and Administration
Meet set budget
and sales goals
Help to deal
with suppliers and customer queries, including questions regarding accounts
Arrange
collections and deliveries
Assure timely billing
as per company policy
REQUIREMENT
University
degree or equivalent in Foreign Trade, Aviation School, Economics
Four to five
years experience with documented sales record
Experience of freight
forwarding (Airfreight) and logistics industry
At least 5 - 7 years experience working in Freight Forwarding Industry.
At least 5 years experience in Airfreight Operation
Master of Airport process, Airport Customs Process
Knowledge of Airfreight Market
Knowledge of competitors
Knowledge of TACT
rule and rates

Good knowledge
of computer systems, both exports and invoicing and company tools
Good sales
ability, knowledge of customer psychology, presentation skills

customs tariffs and the customer’s organization and operations
