ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accurately create high quality textures/materials that represent the product using Substance Designer.
2. Demonstrate full understanding of soft-goods and hard-goods materials such as fabric, woods, and metals.
3. Work directly with Business stakeholders and Lead 3D artist on approval of material
4. Oversee and develop material library. Maintaining and uploading all working and final files in data management system while tracking progress of projects.
5. Assist in designing, implementing and maintaining material pipelines.
6. Collaborate with 3D modelers and architectural visualization team to maintain consistent process and quality.
7. Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media Arts and Animation, Interactive Entertainment, Interactive Technology or related field, or related experience required.
2. Experience:
- 2 years of 3D asset development or related experience required
3. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Expert skills in Substance Designer/ Painter
- Strong modeling skills in 3DSMax
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of modeling and UV skills
- Solid understanding of PBR rendering and materials/ light interactions
- Solid attention to detail
- Able to adapt quickly to ever-evolving technology and the ability to solve in-depth technical solutions to improve efficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- Maintain confidentiality
