Job Description:
  • Setup a vendor and supply strategy (end-to-end) for goods within the business scope such as: POSM, Promotion items, goods for adding value into product/service, etc…
  • Create a classic eCommerce buying/supply environment with best practice approach
  • Negotiate pricing, terms & conditions and logistics with vendors and close the deal
  • Define, implement and execute the business development / growth strategy for the BtoB category together with different departments an managers within the company
  • Start from scratch - hire, train and manage a small team of executive’s depending on growth of the category
  • Developing online merchandising and promotion proposals to achieve sales targets
  • Retain and optimize key account relationships to drive overall sales volumes. This can be done by ensuring pricing competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of key merchants within the category
  • Carry out analysis & survey to better understand merchant requirements and behaviour
  • Identify, establish and grow other local strategic partnerships;

Requirements:

 

  • Ideally 4-6 years of working experience preferably in category management, procurement, purchasing and account management
  • Strong eCommerce experience is a must (BtoB and/or BtoC)
  • Experience working with vendors and having vendor contacts are very helpful
  • Analytical acumen and ability to generate and evaluate analysis
  • Superb business acumen with a desire to manage your own business
  • Driven and motivated
  • Excellent communication capability in English
  • Good degree from recognized university
  • Strong logical thinking and problem solving skills at all times
  • Good team player, positive attitude and eager to learn
  • Max 30 years old
