Duties:
1/. Procurement
- Weekly report on raw material price (sourcing from websites for summarizing the report) to Procurement Manager
- Monitor the seafood market trend, raw material price trend and communicate with suppliers to get updated news
- Control the database & Manage supplier database
- Manage Product Registry database (make sure the update on new supplier/customer/product, and indicative price)
- Conduct the Shipment Follow-up Record, strictly follow on ETDs and coordinate daily with Procurement Admin staff closely to send the report to Procurement Manager when required
- Manage the export data, scan the requested information to report Procurement Manager
- Assist Procurement Manager on sourcing new suppliers or requesting price to suppliers when required.
- Other tasks assigned by Procurement Manager
2/. Internal Customer service
- Filter the news on websites => translate, and make sure the correct copy to be sent to Procurement Manager
- Assist and coordinate with other Departments in terms of price relevant, sample request, etc
3/. Others
- Supervise the daily tasks of Procurement Admin Staff, coordinate with her to make sure the assigned tasks are perfectly competed (shipping docs, contracts, translation, reports, etc)
- Contact Shipping agents on Ocean freight/ make sure to control and get the best rate/ do the weekly report to Procurement Manager
- Business travel to seafood factories when required
- Other tasks assigned by Procurement Manager
Requirements
- Female (age under 38)
- Good experience in seafood industry at least 3 years
- Possess good knowledge in seafood product ranges, processing, raw material, and market (local and international)
- Good connection with seafood processors, coating/sauce suppliers, and/or packaging supplier will be an advantage
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Power Point, Words and Excel
- Good English
- Self-motivated, positive and analytical thinking
- Good problem-solving skill
- Work independently
- Willing to travel nationwide when required
