Job Description:

Objectives of the role

  • To develop project and customer leads in the General Building market segment
  • Submit detailed planning on how to meet monthly sales targets and consistently achieve target sales
  • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with customers
  • Meet Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Targets – zero Days Away from Work(DAFWC), zero High Potential Incidents(HIPO),zero Major Incidents(MI)

Key Areas of Responsibility

 

  • Follow up on all assigned customers, projects and prospects and feedback progress into the project tracking process

 

  • Develop network of contacts that will feed prospects and opportunities into the project tracking process

 

  • Submit detailed quarterly, monthly and weekly sales plans showing how sales targets are to be achieved

 

  • Submit rolling material sales forecast to assist with stock and supply chain planning

 

  • Management of specific key accounts with the key account process

 

  • Monitor receivable collection within the area and follow up rigorously on all collections

 

  • Work within the approved pricing structure between applicator, contractor and end user for the market sectors

 

  • Track and document the activities of competitors, customers(direct and indirect) and clients

 

  • Generate new product development ideas and participate in innovation projects as required

 

  • Fulfil personal development objectives and goals

Previous sales experience in selling technically differentiated products in a B2B environment

Technical degree level qualification

Proven sales ability and track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Previous experience working of construction industry

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Previous experience working for MNC

The ability to enjoy working, and leading a team in a multicultural environment.
