Lead Electrical Engineering is responsible for all aspects related to design activities and construction design for electrical parts. Lead Electrical Engineering’s responsibility includes but not limited to these following tasks:
- - Have a thorough understanding of the job limits, contract details and requirements, project schedules and status of equipment supplies delivery for Electrical parts.
- - Manage and supervise of employees assigned to the group, coordinating the group's work to ensure quality, efficiency and timely manner of the work. - Represent Electrical workshop to solve related problems. Inspect / control, plan on urging engineering contractors to issue the department’s technical drawing on time.
- - Is responsible for verifying, solving problems related to changes in design or unsuitable design.
- - Responsible for errors in the designing process that affect the progress and quality of projects and increase the costs.
- - Coordinate with the other engineering teams in the project (Piping & Mechanical team, Instrument Team, Structural Team, PDMS team, Process team) to solve related problems. - Responsible for checking materials, technical requirements, technical evaluation (TBE), the procurement packages for the teams / department or related ones to ensure the materials are enough, suitable and satisfied the technical requirements. - Coordinate, support the project’s procurement team in the process of procuring materials, equipments and services for the team or related teams / departments.
- - Coordinate with sub-contractors / materials, equipments & services providers to solve the problems related to electricity system of the project.
- - Support the construction department in participating in the process of construction equipment calibration upon request from the construction department.
- - Support Pre-commissioning team when requested from project management. - Responsible for quantity control of the team’s materials during the process of project construction.
- - Coordinate with construction department / QC of the project during the release of drawings and documents for construction, modification requests to improved design from the construction department and complete the final drawings of the Project’s Electricity system. -
- Responsible for Single Discipline Check of the team’s drawings & documents; and interface discipline check of the documents from the other engineering teams when needed. - Consider & comment on the technical process involved in processing / Installation or Pre-commissioning
- - Attend weekly meeting for reporting on construction progress with PMT and clients.
- - Responsible for all other works occurring during the designing process of the department.
