Job Description:

I. JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Educational Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following engineering majors: Electrical, Material Science or relevant majors.

2. Working Experience

• 8+ years of relevant working experience in production management in manufacturing industry with 3+ years of managerial/leadership experience in production management.

• Hands on and very direct approach toproblems and needs of production demand.

• Excellent interpersonal, communicationand presentation skills

II. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage activities of Production in semiconductors Vietnam

III. AUTHORIZATION

• Reject parts or purchaser requisition if they don’t meet the workmanship standards or drawing requirements.

• Do not release part for mass production if they are not meet quality, safety requirement.

• Stop operators if the operators were found not to follow the documented procedures.

• Report quality high risk events to supervisors.

• Report unsafe behaviours to supervisors.

• Perform the controlling and managing duties as assigned by my supervisors.

• Report to next managing levels when directly supervisor does the wrong thing without the correction.

IV. JOB CONDITIONS

• Works in standard office/manufacturing environment.

• Exposure to some of chemicals and machine oils.

• Ability to leadership team, innovation proactive thinking and readiness for change are essential demands at work.

V. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Production Management (50%)

• Quality products in plan produced with the most cost efficiency, including but not limit.

• Manage and deploy resources (human, machineries, materials, energy) efficiently to meet the production schedule.

• Deliver products/services committed to the internal or external customers at the right time, cost, quality, and responsiveness to support their plans.

• Submit budget, control the performance to ensure the budget (headcount, productivity, overtime, absenteeism & expense) is met.

• Leadership responsibility for strategic and tacticalmanufacturing planning, quality improvement, costreductions, productivity, and process improvements,equipment and automation development and growthand profitability.

• Lead production team to review forecast and sale order on ERP to plan for short- and long-term consumable, tool and headcount.

• Support facility upgrade and layout change to suitable for short- and long-term operation.

2. Quality Control & Production Support (25%)

• Quality products and services delivered to customers with fully satisfy, including but not limit.

• Understand sufficiently and correctly products requirements.

• Compliance to quality control plan, system from end-toend process to ensure product quality meet customer requirement.

• Investigate to support responding quickly and accurately, effectively to customers.

• QMS Compliance.

• Provide coaching, training to team for solving problem on time and select right solution.

• Work with multiple sources to do trouble shooting and fix process, quality, and machine issue.

• Lead team to do corrective action and preventive action for failure analysis returned form customer.

3. Supervision, Management and Leadership (20%)

• Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged, and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable performance level in an ever-changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities.

• Ensure you have the right people in the right jobs, by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and methodologies throughout your organization.

• Ensure a learning environment is in place and your team is trained and developed to consistently achieve your organization’s expectations in both the short and long terms.

• Ensure the performance management is fully operating with meaningful stretch goals for all employees in your organization, that feedback is on-going and focused on development and done with 100% On Time Delivery.

• Ensure a free flow of two-way information for your organization to work effectively and communication channels are active and open.

• Ensure an accident-free environment by following all EH&S policies and procedures, maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment and openly endorsing and creating an attitude that all accidents are preventable within your sphere of influence.

• Ensure the spirit and intent of all employment laws and regulations and II-VI and local HR policies and procedures are understood and complied with in your area.

4. Others (5%)

• Support special assignments/projects assigned by Line Manager.

• Support customer visiting and audits from internal or external organization.
