QUALIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE /EXPERIENCE

1. Have more than 8 years of trading (cash) experience in the Agri commodity industry.
2. Buying TSR / Raw material Cup lumps experience
3. Have very good knowledge & insights into the rubber industry and its supply and demand dynamics.
4. Have strong analytical and conceptual skills.
5. Have very good knowledge on local and global S&D of rubber and related products.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

1. Day-to-day trading, buying and selling from third parties, maximizing profit margin.
2. Managing risk exposure – manage any possible volatility of the market structure.
3. Developing new business strategies.
4. Explore Ware housing models in the country.
5. Understanding of sustainability & traceability of supply chain.  
6. Monitoring the day-to-day developments in the rubber market and industry.
7. Contacting/visiting suppliers and receivers to collect information and develop new deals on import and export business
8. Establishing & building relationships with key stakeholders – suppliers, warehouses, logistics providers.
9. Liaising with Financing / Risk control department for new customers set up internally and getting relative information from new suppliers/ customers.
10. Liaising with head office / other branches for the booking of new deals
11. Supervising traffics’ operations and help to solve problems which they are not able to solve
12. Travelling up country & meeting suppliers.
