Job Description:

Head of Investment Products and Advisory – Develop and ensure investment advisory process, model portfolios for clients are complied with; provides investment strategies based on macros and micros to guide BU team and clients with market outlook and product notes; Develop, launch new products & due diligence of 3rd party products for onboarding

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage Investment products solutions, propositions, and distribution architecture compliant with regulations for all client segments
  • Building and leveraging partnerships to enhance product suite. Develop policies pertaining to due diligence and onboarding of third-party product vendors
  • Delivering business goals for the products
  • Work with Sales Directors to identify demand and opportunities for new product offerings. Plan and lead product launch/marketing events.
  • Building investment strategies based on macros and micros to guide BU team and clients with market outlook and product briefs and suitability
  • Build structured advisory processes, and model portfolios. Review and ensure process compliance and alignment between clients’ portfolios and model
  • Enabling BU teams through coaching, training, sales support tools, sales promotion, and stimulus programs to be able to offer suitable solutions to clients
  • Exploring penetration and cross-sell opportunities to increase clients, AUM and TOI
  • Develop Investment Counsellors, Investstrategistsegist, Researchers dedicated to the Private segment to guide, coach, and train sales staff at BUs/PB centers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics,… MBA/CFA/CFR/others will be an added advantage
  • 5+ years of managerial experience
  • 10 - 12 years of investment/product management experience (preferably in priority and private banking)
  • Proficient understanding of various asset classes, investment tools, and risk management practices
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Strong leadership & team management skills, high ethical standards and integrity, etc
