PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and facilitate effective design trips, monitor post trip follow up, provide advice to the team for any road block on sampling and costing.
Drive Calendars for new styles.
Provide direction to the team for anything impacting the sample readiness and costing.
Monitor the number of developments and call out for support.
Monitor the style allocation to make sure the right product at the right vendors per aligned sourcing strategy.
Work closely with regional design tech in order to let them aware of any complexity garment styles upfront.
Coach/ Calibrate the team and vendor on costing study and sensitivity on the cost driver.
Support the team on costing negotiations with vendors.
Call and hold the risk assessment meeting with cross functional team and vendors.
Call and hold the product adoption meeting with cross functional team and vendors to make sure all parties on the same page.

REQUIREMENTS:

8+ years of solid related experience specializing in apparel/sleepwear, in which 2 years at managerial level. Experience gained from MNC/ sizable buying offices/ trading firms is highly preferred.
Well organized and able to work independently
Strong analytical skills to solve complex technical problems with impact to the business
Able to function in a fast paced environment as well as communicate and negotiate in an effective and clear manner
Proficient in MS office, including MS Excel
Good command in oral and written English
