Job Description:

Compliance Management:

Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in multiple Asian countries. (China, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Viet Nam).
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to local laws and regulations.
Collaborate with legal and HR teams to implement changes in policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Review company policies.
Implement and manage an effective internal control process.
Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.

Payroll Processing:

Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Asian countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with payroll providers and finance teams to gather necessary payroll data.
Manage payroll vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements are met.

Taxation and Reporting:

Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll-related taxes and statutory contributions.
Oversee required reports to local authorities.
Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations affecting payroll.

Employee Relations:

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll processing and compliance management in Asian countries.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across various Asian jurisdictions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
Certifications in payroll or related fields are a plus.
