Duties:

• Ensuring the implementation of the industrial evolution strategies and the technological upgrade.
• Ensuring the industrialization and proper production of new products, ensuring their optimization in terms of performance/costs and the launch to the market in the time and cost provided by the Product Plans.
• Ensuring the correct sizing and efficient setup of the production equipment also through an assessment of outsourcing opportunities and in relation to the market needs, ensuring the constant technological update of all industrial production facilities and their processes, and the "best" efficiency of the production tools, in compliance with the Rules, Laws and Regulations in terms of quality, safety and environment, considering cost reduction, flexibility and safety.
• Ensuring the implementation of production strategies in the short, medium and long term, according to the sales budgets and forecasts defined by the Sales function, ensuring the expected service level to the market and minimizing the levels of inventory.
• Guaranteeing production according to market service logic, product quality, cost efficiency and invested capital, in accordance with corporate Quality, Safety and Environment standards and allocated budgets.
• Guaranteeing the realization, development, adaptation, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of corporate properties and production units.
• Optimizing the efficiency in terms of cost and ensuring the development and adaptation of tools and organization, in compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Guaranteeing the motivation, updating and development of its team through direct coaching, support and targeted training, in accordance with the agreed budget, maintaining a proactive business climate and consistent with the company values.

Responsibilities:

• Compliance with work processes and other work regulations.
• Guarantee Production and Supply Chain activities by ensuring the right industrial structure, technological development and standards of productivity and service level.  
• Guarantee fPS activities.

Job Requirements:

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering or alternatively completed vocational training with subsequent Training as technician/master with corresponding design experience.
• Several years of professional experience in a metal processing company.
• Good knowledge of SAP PP and MS Office, especially Excel and English skills.
• Know-how regarding Lean Management, CIP and KAIZEN would be desirable.
• Several years of experience in leadership.
• Ability to work in a team, communication skills and social competence.
• Analytical thinking and pleasure in solving complex and technically demanding problems.
• Strong quality awareness.
• Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
