Job Description:

General Tasks

  • The principle objective of this role is to coordinate all outlet and administrative operations at TSN International airport. This role is responsible for increasing revenues and profitability through financial management and leadership practices. This role will need to work closely with the Operations Director to identify branch opportunities for revenue maximization and cost control, menu innovation, new outlet possibilities and marketing, Purchasing and HR and IT initiatives. This role will provide leadership, direction and support for all members of the TSN team with the overall goal of ensuring the smooth and effective operation and that maximizes the locations potential. The Airport Manager will consistently demonstrate and enforce all company policies, practices and procedures

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build the master plan for operation development in TSN airport Int. based on the company business development, as well as the action plans to meet the objectives
  • Build an outlet by outlet Business Plan, develop action plans to achieve and coordinate the implementation
  • Motivate, develop, and encourage all managers, supervisors and associates through positive leadership and direction
  • Play a key role in establishing, monitoring and achieving company budgets, forecasts and other financial targets
  • Report on a daily, weekly and monthly basis all branch sales and costs including an end of month report that will form the basis of our company and partner reporting structure
  • Assist in identifying business opportunities, both short and long term, and provide the direction to implementation of planning relating to Company objectives and strategies
  • Determine market potential for new products or services relative to the Company’s activities and liaise with the Director of Operations to assess the viability and implementation
  • Setting performance standards for subordinates and ensuring training and development of same, and directed to attaining these standards
  • To initiate research, as required, to assist in marketing, pricing policy, menu initiatives, planning and other possible commercial activities
  • To maintain contact with Airport, airport related and outside industry organizations in order to be fully informed of developments and opportunities
  • To ensure that costs, Payroll, Cost of Sales and Other Controllable, incurred by the Company are monitored and within the budgeted levels
  • Monitor and control wastage levels through all outlets
  • Conduct business operations in accordance with company ethical conduct standards, local laws, and all other applicable regulations
  • Increase capture rate, cheque average and total revenues to company while ensuring that we maintain fresh and appealing product, with a variety of price points and delivered by well-trained associates through superior service to customers
  • Manage the financial, operational and relationship aspects of the International branded concepts and sub-contractors that exist under the concession agreement
  • In coordination with Managing Director and the Vietnam National team, establish and maintain excellent landlord relationships
  • In coordination with HR, to build the management team and Asssociate team in TSN Int. as professional manners
  • The introduction and implementation of standardized company systems, procedures and programs that have been established to assure a quality product and service
  • Achieve the company goals annually agreed upon both in customer and employee Satisfaction
  • Adhere to all the requirements as outlined in the Lease/s or Concession Agreements and any subsequent Amendments
  • Coordinate with all levels of the organization through highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
  • Report and inform effectively to the Director of Operations which is extended by dotted line to the Managing Director
  • Research current market conditions and assess findings to extract pertinent information necessary to improve service, adjust concepts and menus to reflect target market preferences and provide design direction based on current trends
  • Carry out any other requests, reasonable to the position, and as instructed by members of the Vietnam national team

Requirements:

  • Hospitality Management Degree
  • Minimum qualifications needed to perform essential job functions
  • Having the same or similar position in related industry or 4 -5 stars hotel
  • Good oral and written communication in Vietnamese and English
  • Demonstrated, management and leadership skills
  • Proven ability in problem solving, delegation, motivation and performance management skills/
  • Previous Food and Beverage experience ideally with a QSR environment component
  • Be willing to make an extended commitment to the role
  • Demonstrate understanding of Generic and QSR process and procedures
  • Demonstrate sound financial understanding of Generic and QSR operation
