As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for:
- The executive director is responsible for leading and managing the organization operations, activities, and services in a community, in alignment with its vision, mission, and values.
- The executive director reports to the organization's board of directors and works closely with other stakeholders such as local businesses, government officials, media, and community organizations.
- The executive director oversees the organization's functions such as advocacy, business information, corporate partnership, and business networking, as well as its financial and human resources management.
- The executive director represents the organization in external events and media, builds and maintains relationships with key partners and members, and identifies and develops new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Actively enhance the membership engagement and develop value-add member services. Create and implement ideas for (new/improved) activity and program formats, incl. content preparation and moderation.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Government/International Relations, Law or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a senior management position
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of the Vietnamese market, culture and legal framework
- A high level of professionalism, integrity and commitment
- Fluency in English and prefer German; knowledge of Vietnamese is an asset
