Location: Vietnam

The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team preferably from Rice Processing Industry. They should be able to analyse each step of the manufacturing/Production process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Overall Plant operations responsibility:

Financial oversight and control of Procurement payments, Packaging material, Logistics-R&M-Labor-Utilities-Spare parts Payments etc,
Manpower Management
Production and Operational Efficiency
Accountable for Product Outturns/Raw material/Finished Goods/ Stocks
Cost Management/Cost Control
Quality and Food Safety implementation
Built the production team from scratch

2. Internal Stakeholders management

Interface with Olam global MATs function
Implementing Olam GAP in the plant
Propose and Execute Capex/Opex requirements
Plant performance reporting- Ops and MATs

3. External Stakeholders Management

Local Licensing and Regulatory Requirements
Fire Safety/Environment/tax/Union
Liaison with local/Provincial government

4. Technical/Operational

Good understanding of Rice processing Industry
Food Safety and Operational expertise. Strong understanding of HACCP and BRC requirements
Good understanding of Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation
Production planning and Scheduling
Project Management
Idea of six sigma, TPM
Good knowledge of technical software’s like CAD, MS Project and exposure to ERP systems

5. Commercial

Financial Acumen and experience

Understands Plant financial reports

6. Others

Systems and processes- Ability to Establish those in a new start up unit.
Articulation/Reports for Internal and external Stakeholders- Expert in Excel/Powerpoint. Good idea of concise and impactful data representation
