JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop and track monitoring systems relevant to the Work
cell
Emphasis on Work cell cost-reduction and to all individuals
and continuous improvement is being achieved
Ensure cost-effective management of all materials and plant
property relating to work cells
Be a key player in the sizing process. Ensure that the Work
cell signs up for the most aggressive, yet achievable, schedules possible, and
reacts quickly to schedule changes
Help to plan work cell layouts so that they are set up in a
cost-effective manner.
Build and maintain an excellent farm club of differing
maturity and career track timing.
Develop, motivate and challenge all team members to perform
to their full potential, providing direct and timely feedback in formal and
informal media.
Create a decentralized operation that is organized along
project lines and empowers all individuals to make a difference.
Create an environment that is culturally embedded in a
"Quality First" mentality.
Maintain a thorough knowledge and in-depth field of
experience regarding emerging electronic manufacturing technologies, and
encourage others to do the same.
Work with all levels of the organization to improve quality
levels (goal: Zero Defect product). Drive to conclusion all action items
assigned to the Work cell.
Ensure all levels of the organization are focused on
providing the customer with defect free product and 100% On-Time Delivery.
Create a sense of pride that ensures a world-class facility
in terms of appearance.
Maintain positive employee relations by encouraging direct
and indirect employees to take advantage of our open-door policy, suggestion
box, participation in status and team meetings, and interactive one-on-one
communication.
Foster a general feeling of identity and loyalty within each
work cell team. Celebrate
Accomplishments; communicate calmly, but clearly, areas that
need improvement. Instill a continuous improvement mentality in all facets of
the organization
Review all relevant policies and procedures (as initiated
and revised) with direct reports, instructing them regarding the specific
application to their assignments. Ensure each individual’s comprehension, as
well as his or her ongoing support and compliance.
Foster good morale, a proactive and positive culture, and
maximize the opportunity for personal growth at all levels of the organization
