Actively involved in communication and coordination
with several areas for ensuring necessary movements of material are performed
accurately and in a timely manner.

Coordinates
shipments with the traffic department and/or freight companies directly
May work
closely with customers directly.
Oversees and tracks the shipment of material /
material movements performed for supporting manufacturing activities and
shipments.
Obtains, organizes, analyzes, and interprets data
related to shipping / receiving /stockroom processes.
Identifies root cause of errors and implements
process improvements as preventative measures, when necessary.
Continuously focuses on improving the Inventory
Control operations.
Provides high-quality responses to all shipping /
receiving /stockroom related issues.
Ensures
all transactions are completely posted and processed accurately.
Ensures
shipment schedules are met within the department.
Prioritizes
shipments based on customer needs
Ensures correct shipment of all material,
including but not limited to: return to vendor, customer, non-production, samples,
sub-contracted, equipment, documentation, and shipments to other Jabil Operations.
Ensures correct transport, shipping, and
customs documentation is accurately completed
Work with the Traffic Department if one
exists within the Operation.
Ensures
all transactions are completely posted and processed accurately.

issues to management that cannot be resolved within the department.
Reporting

backflush material in the ERP system
Ensuring
department personnel have required up-to-date certifications and/or permits.
Scheduling
overtime and coordinate any special needs for the department.
Escalating
issues to management that cannot be resolved within the department.
Reporting
departmental metrics with root cause analysis to the management team.
Involved
in the coordination and/or execution of a physical inventory. Pulling material for purges from stock as needed.

of related experience and/or 1-2 years of experience within or relating to Inventory
Control.
