Job Description:

Working locationHCMC & Binh Duong (shuttle bus between HCMC & Binh Duong)

Scope of work:

  • In charge of: Production, Maintenance, Quality, R&D department
  • In daily coordination with: Warehouse, Supply chain, Purchasing department
  • In close working with: Regulatory, Finance department

General Task:

  • Define and manage the daily operational activity of the factory to ensure the proper delivery of goods to the customers in terms of Time, Quantity, and Quality.
  • Manage the daily activity as agreed by the Labour Code of Vietnam, the Law of Vietnam, and the Policy of the company.
  • Coordinate on weekly basis the Operational Meeting with all the departments to ensure the proper management of all the activity.
  • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Ensure the correct norm of quality, hygiene, environment following the Guide of Practice and standard of GMP WHO, ISO 9001, and FAMI-QS.
  • Propose and optimize the operational activity in order to do cost-saving, capacity increase, new project development.
  • From each problem or blocking point happening, conduct problem solving and deploy the correct solution.
  • Propose every year the Recruitment plan, the CAPEX, and the Operational budget for the year coming and ensure a close follow-up of it.
  • Work closely with the different suppliers of Raw Materials or Equipment in coordination with the Maintenance and Purchasing department. Visit and Audit them when necessary.
  • Work closely with the head of the operation to deploy the good practices and to develop the new projects or new products following the strategy of the group (products, Seaweed sourcing, New product development).
  • Lead, Coordinate, Motivate the employees in order to achieve the target fixed by the company and the department.
  • Review worker performance and identify training needs.

Details activity per department

Production department:

  • Ensure customer orders are completed on time in the budget and that quality standards and targets are met.
  • Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
  • Weekly validation of the production Work Order and the Raw Material Request based on the request from the Planning department.
  • Ensure the good operation of the production activity on daily basis.
  • Deployment of KPI to follow the productivity and the correct capacity of production tools.

Maintenance department:

  • Validation of the main maintenance job on a weekly basis
  • Organize the repair of any damaged equipment
  • Follow the preventive plan maintenance
  • Analyze and decide the purchasing of CAPEX equipment by choosing the right tool at the right price in line with the budget provided.

Quality department:

  • Follow and analyze the Quality control plan of the factory
  • Challenge yearly the quality control plan to improve the cost of analysis and the suitable analysis in order to achieve a correct quality as agreed with the budget
  • Define and deploy a new method of analysis if it’s suitable in term of cost-saving and tools available
  • Decide and approve next step related to the sensitive topic such as expiry date extension, non-conformity of raw materials or finish goods, claims from customers

R&D department:

  • Deploy the industrial strategy and the development of the new product based on the request from the corporate
  • Improve and approve the formula of production based on the availability of Raw Materials on the market, the registration of the products and the cost of production of the finished goods.
  • Deploy the launching of a new product based on the request from the corporate in France, the constraint of the local market (price, raw materials availability, regulation) and the technical aspect of the product (technology, the requirement of the market)
  • Be the link between the R&D department and the other department:
    • Finance department: to define the proper cost of goods (Raw Materials, Packaging, production cost)
    • Regulatory department: to define the Technical Datasheet of each product for the registration on the market
    • Sales: to define the “Product Leader” of each new project for the launching of a new product and support for trials
    • Purchasing: to find approved raw materials sources in sufficient quantity at a suitable price and quality (following company standard and price of goods)
