Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. The supply chain manager must communicate his needs and objectives to line managers and key personnel in procurement, development/manufacturing, logistics and distribution. This will help the entire team understand the timing required and individual input necessary to make the process run smoothly. Any miscommunication of expectations could generate costly delays.

 

  1. ost Reduction and Process Improvement is an ongoing requirement for the supply chain manager. If a service or raw material can be purchased cheaper from a new supplier, without jeopardizing quality, then the change should be made. If a process can be improved or sped up, then productivity could possibly be increased. This ongoing task is continually being examined within the supply chain itself. Cost reductions and increases in productivity usually equal higher profits.
  1. The chain manager will train, develop, mentor and assist his subordinates in all of the departments that fall within the supply chain process. It is essential that the various components of the team function effectively. Constant process and employee review is needed to ensure that the process stays cost effective. Supply chain management is an intense, process-oriented career. It is about making the processes of procurement, development, logistics and distribution as cost effective as possible. The chain must be continually evaluated in order to produce better techniques, cheaper materials and faster processes.
  1. Adapt the Global Policies & Procedures and Ensure that all Operational Policies and Procedures for Branch(es), Collection & Delivery Centers, Picking and Packing Center(s), Express Center(s) and all other Operational locations, are fully put in place.

 

  1. Ensure 3rd parties to adhere with client Policies and SOPs including FCPA

Policy

  1. Responsible in establishing and attaining annual goals and objectives of the Supply Chain Department Goals including customer service, inventory, quality, conversion cost, productivity, cost movement and employee relations and in collaboration with HR, select qualified staff are properly coached, continually motivated to handle the demands of their jobs and achieve their objectives and given the opportunity to develop

 

  1. Manage the KPI’s and service indicators of inventory, cash and service within the budget allocated for Supply Chain nationwide. Ensure the cost-efficiency at all times.
  1. Monitor the performance of customer service, Transportation, Inventory Operations, Products Delivery and Cash Collection in all branch(es) and CDCs nationwide. Identify areas of continual improvement and propose corrective actions where necessary
  1. In conjunction with Sales Dept to expand the service capability and service penetration through out Vietnam
  1. Ensures smooth supply chain management from raw materials availability to conversion to distribution of goods to the branches taking into consideration cost, service and inventory.
  1. Heads the Business Recovery Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor degree in Business/Economics or related area.

 

 

Experience:

·Must complete a minimum of 5 years in a similar role in multi-national companies

·Understand thoroughly service-culture system

·Has good experience in setting up and implementation of new service initiatives and

service center.

Knowledge:

  • Detailed understanding of production and operations mamangement.
  • Firm understanding of related regulations
