Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Marketing and Communication Executive with knowledge in the travel industry and relevant experience in the tourism sector to develop our marketing strategy, manage our Affiliate program, maintain our blog and social media channels, and lead our corporate communications.
The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and requires fluency in English.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop our Marketing strategy
    • Understand the product and the customer profile
    • Conduct market research to evaluate travel trends, brand awareness and state of the competition
    • Develop a marketing strategy in accordance with the company goals and vision
    • Use Google Analytics to measure the web performance, analyze the audience, identify the acquisition channels and understand the customer behavior
    • Suggest improvements in our marketing strategy and prepare plans to increase the user acquisition and goal conversion based on Google Analytics data
  2. Manage our Affiliate program
    • Research for potential affiliates, introduce our program, follow-up during the registration process
    • Communicate with affiliates to resolve technical problems
  3. Maintain our blog
    • Proofread and edit posts prepared by authors and collaborators, link content with our travel search engine
    • Adjust titles, meta descriptions and keywords to improve the readability of the posts and the SEO positioning
    • Cooperate with the Business Department to create and update posts related to expansion to new markets and integrations of new routes and transport providers
    • Share published posts through social media channels, track the audience reach
  4. Maintain our social media channels
    • Share news and articles related to travel & tourism in our Facebook page on a frequent basis, maintain the page active
    • Join and participate actively in TripAdvisor and Facebook Pages and Groups related to Travel in Asia, encourage readers to use Baolau to plan their trips
    • Track the user acquisition and goal conversion from TripAdvisor, Facebook and other social media channels
  5. Lead our Corporate and Press communications
    • Help us create and promote the brand identity of our company and our product
    • Plan, develop and implement effective communication campaigns
    • Prepare press releases and press communications, distribute to journalists
    • Maintain relationships with media and stakeholders of the travel and tourism industry in Asia, attend events
