Job Description:

OVERALL

  • Working closely with Finance Team & MA Director team at Group level and subsidiaries to develop strategic long-term plans with an aim to create transformational value. Overview and take responsibility for all MA transactions as one layer before sent to CFO & CEO.
  • A passion to develop a world-class management accounting function that is highly effective and scalable for growth

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic business partners

  • Serving as the Financial Business Partner to subsidiaries
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams at the Group level and subsidiaries, such as Finance, Internal Audit, and Strategy & Development, to deliver management information reports
  • Analyzing and tracking of strategic initiatives, including the development of supporting financial models and expected outcomes
  • Providing reliable financial and operational analysis to partners, driving growth and operational efficiencies including month-end processing, management review of budget vs. actual results, and robust trend analysis
  • Managing the financial planning process to provide senior management and strategic stakeholders with financial forecasts periodically and accurately across all product categories, as well as all business units of subsidiaries
  • Proactively monitoring, bringing awareness to risks and opportunities, and providing solutions to the senior management team for timely business decision making.

Financial performance

  • Delivering key financial and business performance reporting processes, including financial assessments, monthly and quarterly business reviews, forecasts and annual operating plan development
  • Managing the planning process, including annual budgets, monthly forecasts and long-term plans
  • Providing periodic reports, analyses, and presentations to senior management with comprehensive, up-to-date and insightful information about the Company’s performance
  • Leading initiatives with subsidiaries to start building corporate financial plans, including profit and capital

Financial control

  • Supporting the CFO, Deputy CFO, and other business leaders in developing and applying financial management policies and procedures to optimize the Company’s resources and profits
  • Developing standardized processes, coordinating with subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate implementation of the Company’s financial planning processes as required by the Board of Directors and related departments
  • Developing and maintaining a multidimensional management information system including standardized reporting forms, key performance indicators, systematic and consistent analysis and presentation of all product categories and business units of subsidiaries
  • Developing and maintaining an accurate and appropriate internal financial database at the Group level; and also providing a comprehensive assessment of the Company’s performance in all aspects and recommendations for the Company to achieve its financial goals
  • Developing multi-dimensional reporting systems for internal and external purposes
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and Internal Control requirements to deliver sustainable value

 

Other

  • Analyzing M&A opportunities
  • Performing ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned by the CFO

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional designations (e.g., ACCA, CPA, etc.) preferred
  2. Minimum 12 years of relevant financial planning & analysis experience
  3. In-depth knowledge of VAS & IFRS accounting standards
  4. Experience with Oracle preferred
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  6. Strong analytical ability to identify challenges, provide solutions, and resolve problems in a timely manner
  7. Competencies in financial analysis, financial modeling, financial management and planning skills
  8. Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both Vietnamese and English
  9. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced, changing work environment, while consistently meeting deadlines
  10. Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and drive for success
  11. Being proactive in all processes and projects are undertaken
  12. Ability to develop good working relationships with peers and external business partners
