Job Description:

Develop the sales strategy and qualify capable Distributors in the export markets- today including Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, and New Zealand

  • Obtain and analyze market information including market size and potential, competition status then define the opportunities for Company in industry and heavy duty oil segments
  • Develop the strategic business plan for each relevant market
  • Expand the markets served across Asia in line with the strategy. These will include, but are not limited to Japan, Australia, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos and Singapore.
  • Seek and vet capable distributors who has experience and passion to develop company's department, company in the territories to develop long-term relationships
  • Run qualifications process to assess the capabilities of Distributors including market knowledge, infrastructure (warehouse, office, trucks etc), financial capabilities, Sales resource and strategic mind-set
  • Appoint authorised distributorships with a clear working model – including product portfolio, price strategies, annual – quarter- monthly targets, order and payment processes, marketing and technical support program & activities
  • Build sales around a benefit-selling approach, together with the Technical and Product Development Department and Company's Center of Excellence. Ensure these principles are inherent in the strategy and the roll-out of all actions in the field
  • Run frequent market intelligence update actions from Distributors in order to adjust the strategies timely
  • Develop and run or co-ordinate strategic programs and initiatives to promote or maintain the sales growth in the export market  including OEM qualifications, Channel development etc  

Plan and execute Sales activities to deliver Sales performance for short term (monthly and quarterly) under annual Operating plan and Sales strategic plan (5 years plan)

  • Coordinate for the Sales Plans monthly and quarterly of Distributors by
  • Apply the prices approval process with approval of General Director before offering to Distributors
  • Co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure the orders to be served timely and professionally. Ad-hoc issues are proactively resolved with minimum impact on the the business and Distributors
  • Co-ordinate to support Marketing (POSM, promotion programs etc) and Technical Services activities in export markets
  • Work with Distributors to develop rolling forecast and coordinate with Demand and Supply Planning for the supply execution
  • Ensure all Sales or company processes (and policies) are implemented. Remove internal barriers to ensure the compliance and prompt feed-back or actions
  • Send the frequent reports on time in full for the markets | territories performance
  • Assess the capabilities of Distributors annually in order to proactively improve and anticipate the growth of the market 

Support Distributors in approaching key customers and sell-out deliveries 

  • Support Distributor to pipeline management of end customers
  • Deliver value-adding services to company – company's brands to support Distributors
  • Learn and Share the best working model and re-apply the best one in other markets (where applicable) to accelerate the business growth
