PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To contribute to the development of Field Force and Trade by providing effective On-the-Job and classroom training based on identified business needs, organizational and individual development plans in order to increase professional knowledge. Ensure competency development and maintain overall performance excellence, thus supporting Field Force in achieving business objectives
1.Training Needs Analysis and Planning
Analyze professional skills and knowledge of the field force by monitoring performance and communicating with Line Management.
Base on the above; identify individual development areas and training needs. Propose and agree on training and development plans in order to ensure adequate level of competencies, critical to the business, thus improving performance to the level that fully meets set standards.
2. Classroom Training
Ensure Organization of the training sessions according to the defined plan.
Deliver induction and training programs in line with the companyâ€™s training practices and methods in order to improve skills and professional knowledge of field force thus contributing to performance excellence.
Propose and develop new courses and up dates to the existing training packages in order to address changing business environment and develop relevant competencies
3. On the Job Training
Carry out regular on the job training in accordance with agreed individual development plans in order to ensure effective application of skills, efficient follow up of classroom training and adherence to performance standards.
Assess individual performance development and provide feedback to line management on the progress.
4. Trade Development
In co-operation with line management identify training needs of trade partnerâ€™s personnel and develop targeted training programs.
Plan and deliver seminars to trade partners personnel in order to improve their skills and business knowledge, support co-operation and loyalty to our client
5. Field Force recruitment and assessment
Participate in the recruitment and assessment process of field personnel in order to contribute to the selection of candidates who fully meet position requirements. Analyze and propose improvement to performance standards, assessment tools and evaluation forms.
6. Training records and training materials
Maintain detailed training records on individual performance and level of competencies development, indicating critical aspects of performance, training needs and training history in order to advise on future development. Maintan and regularly update the existing training materials and library.
Develop and maintain positive working relationship with relevant functions of the organization in order to follow up on all critical business developments and training related activities. Constantly communicate with and provide feedback to line management, participate in sales cycle meetings in order to be fully informed of Field Force objectives and cycle-related activities as well as share training and development status and plans.
8. Self Development
Keep abreast of all best training practices and materials as well as actively participate in trainers workshops in order to ensure development of professional competencies and skills
9. Corporate Image
Contribute to the image of Philip Morris as a responsible corporation and preferred business partner, through educating Field Force and Trade on the principles of Our client marketing code.
10. Policies and procedures
Follow our client Policies and Procedures and maintain all company equipment and property in good condition. Contribute to the understanding and adherence to Our client Policies and Procedures by Field Force.
