DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
â€¢Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned market segment to generate new business for the organizationâ€™s products and services.
â€¢Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
â€¢Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
â€¢Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
â€¢Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
â€¢Coordinates sales effort with management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
â€¢Analyzes marketâ€™s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customerâ€™s value to the organization.
â€¢Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
â€¢Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment.
â€¢Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
â€¢Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
â€¢Be in contact with all international donors (WHO, ADB, JICA, AFD, KFW, GF, LG, ect..) to collect information about tenders. Have direct personal contact with decision makers of those organizations.
â€¢Participates in trade shows and conventions.
â€¢Weekly activity report and visit planning
â€¢Reports directly to the Office Director
â€¢Must possess 4 years experience in the Sale of Laboratory/Healthcare equipment sector.
â€¢Possession of a post-secondary degree in Business or Laboratory/Healthcare field.
â€¢Experience in working with ministries (MOH, MPI), state organizations (VAAC,..) and international organizations (World Health Organization, Word Bank, Global Fung, Life Gap, ADB).
â€¢Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers
â€¢Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
â€¢Must possess excellent verbal and written communication in English or French.
â€¢Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
Working time: from Monday to Friday, 8 AM-12AM and 1.30PM-5.30PM
