Scope of work: 

• We are looking to recruit a Purchasing Supervisor to leading the team of material purchase and its delivery control, material expediting as well as material kitting activities per manufacturing plan, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager ‐ Vietnam.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and basic communication in Mandarin will be preferred;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Located at Vietnam facility;
• Able to select, train, motivate and retain staff to achieve high levels of performance;
• Versed in material purchase, demand forecasting, VMI/JIT replenishment management, material expediting and material kitting improvement processes in manufacturing;
• Execute & lead process improvements in material purchase and material expediting processes which lead to improve On‐Time Delivery (OTD) and material kitting rates;
• Execute & lead VMI & kanban material process improvements in material purchase and replenishment processes as they related to manufacturing;
• Execute & lead safety stock purchase and min‐max ordering control process in material purchase processes as they related to manufacturing;
• Execute & drive the inventory in‐take control per manufacturing planning, implement VMI & JIT delivery to meet production order schedule and its production kitting performance as they
• relate to material kitting on manufacturing;
• Execute & drive the material forecasting against capacity planning, material purchase & kitting to meet its manufacturing order planning, RMA and ECO processes as they relate to
• manufacturing; 
• Where necessary roll their sleeves up to get stuck into detail and lead by example.
