Job Description:

• Purchasing responsibility for different material groups with focus in metal raw materials and components
• Leading negotiations for optimization of commercial framework conditions
• Continous benchmarking in cooperation with the global Lead Buying organization and the Asia sourcing office in China
• Elaboration and realization of purchasing strategies, supplier portfolio optimization and cost improvement activities
• Risk Management of the complete supply chain
• Strong cooperation with factory management and various local and global interfaces, like Global Purchasing, R&D, Quality, Logistics
• Assurance of new product implementation roadmaps

 

Job Requirements:

• University degree in engineering or economics or strong purchasing experience in relevant production industries
• Good knowledge of general purchasing and logistics tools
• Good experience in ERP systems, like SAP or others
• Good English skills in writing and speaking
• Experienced negotiation skills
• Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional activities
• Availability for travel
