• Develop, administer and implement planning and inventory control objectives, policies and procedures for final product, direct materials, finished goods inventory.
• Set up inventory and materials management system to ensure appropriate supplies and stock levels are maintained to meet production targets and schedules
• Ensure all material and goods are handled, stored and distributed in a safe, cost-effectively and timely manner
• Review and exercise control over excess and obsolete materials
• Conduct contract and price negotiation with suppliers
• Investigates and corrects supply problems to minimise impact on production, and reviews economies of purchases to reduce cost and improve quality and delivery time

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree holder in Purchasing and Supply Management or other related disciplines

• Minimum 4 years of solid experience in purchasing, materials control and production planning
• Familiarity with import and export regulations
• Proficiency in MS office applications, knowledge of SAP is advantageous
• Good leadership, analytical, prioritizing and collaboration skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
