• In alignment with the Head of R&D Excellence, defining and implementing standardized ways of working for project management, which are optimized for efficiency, effectiveness and the best customer touch.
• Together with local Project Management Manager and Head of R&D Excellence defining, organizing and maintaining a coaching & mentoring structure to deliver the on-the-job coaching
• Manage product development projects
• Ensuring that standardized ways of working and best practices are embedded

Experience, personality, skills & competences

• At least 7 years of experience as (senior) project manager of which 2 years in a technical environment – preferably in product development
• At least 2 years of experience in coaching
• Role model / example as a project manager: taking ownership to maximize chance on success, showing pro-active behavior, delivering the best customer touch, maintaining overview, regularly reflecting on the progress and best way forward, being able to deal with uncertainty and changes, etc.
• Proven up-to-date knowledge on project management; PMP certification or similar is a nice-to-have
• Outward mindset
• Good communicator with attention for cultural differences
• Experience with Agile or Lean product development is a nice-to-have
