This position is responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring all production activities within an assigned area to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards.
This position is also responsible for providing necessary leadership to multi-shift to accomplish the objectives of continuous improvement.This is done while maintaining high morale, safely supplying the business with products/services. The production manager is responsible to implement and advance the team designs and ensure that all team members' work under accepted team and personal responsibilities and maintain consistency in the application of company and department policies.
Develop and implement manufacturing schedules and procedures in compliance with SHEQ.
Allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity
Analyze production, maintenance, and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions that will improve performance
Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance or downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of supervisors who are responsible for various production activities to achieve the production plan/maintenance plan with compliance with SHEQ and cost targets.
Lead engineering team to develop a preventive maintenance program, then driving it to make sure all equipments and buildings in good condition and working efficiently with compliance with cost targets.
Control spare parts stock to make sure that all critical parts are identified, available in the store, used properly.
Co-ordinate team members in providing a good customers service to COMPANY subsidiaries sourcing products from us.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
At least 5 years experience in production, Lean, SHE, SAP and Maintenance experience preferred.
